Metal Detectors. Find Buried Treasure!

Metal Detectors are great fun to use, and can find you some of the most unusual items… especially in your own backyard!
A friend of mine found some old coins in his backyard from around the time the house was built, they just ended up a foot under the ground, and he dug them up. You never know what you will find.
If you are creative and love to create unique pieces, then you may find something to add to your creations, or you may find something quite valuable. The beach is another great place to go looking, but watch it, it can become addictive and you will always be looking at the ground!
You just never know what you will turn up, it could be a collectible, antique, vintage items, or old jewelry or old coins… its a great hobby. Just be ready to dig, once your metal detector lets you know it detects something!.. Depending on the quality of your detector you may have to dig deep.. but it is like being a kid again, searching for that buried treasure!
