Treasure Hunter asked:

Inside a meeting room at your local hotel conference center, the Treasure Hunters Roadshow creates an inviting atmosphere where guests can wait in line while observing other appraisal activities.

• Inside of the large conference room, tables will be arranged in multiple stations where individual treasure hunters are sitting.

• Sellers are asked to come to a table where a treasure hunter will examine your things.

• The items are laid out on the Treasure Hunters Roadshow table for viewing, appraisal and purchase offer.

Visitors Items are Separated Into Three Groups:

• Items we need for our collectors: These are the items we want to buy and we will make an offer based on current market value.

• Collectible items that have value, but we do not have buyers for: These are the items that have a value to someone, but are items we will not offer to buy. We be happy to appraise the item and suggest how you might market the item to others.

• Used Merchandise: These are the items that do not have a significant collector demand. It will be suggested they be sold at garage sales or flea markets.

Guests Can Turn Into Sellers.

• Once separated, an offer may be made to purchase certain items. This offer is made based on current market values. We use a number of resources from our exclusive network of individual collectors to actual public/internet sites such as eBay. You may see many associates making phone calls and electronically sending images of a guest’s item to find a specialized collector/buyer.

• If a guest has a certain price in mind for an item, we invite that they do not keep it a secret. By sharing this type of information, a deal may be made instead of lost. We are here to buy a guest’s items at fair and honest prices.

• If an offer is accepted by the guest, they are paid on the spot. The process only takes a few minutes and the seller gets 100% of the offer. It is an opportunity for anyone to sell their rare and collectible items and get fair collectors prices.
